On Thursday, the PASL reversed its decision to award Harrisburg the Open Cup quarterfinal match for the January 19th game against Detroit. The two will still meet as a regular season matchup.
The game, scheduled as a regular season match, was going to double as the Open Cup Quarterfinal, until today. The league initally stated that it was awarding Harrisburg the game because of its fan base. However, upon further consideration, the league felt it was unfair to award Harrisburg (3-5) the home field since Detroit (8-1) has the better record.
This Saturday's regular season game in Detroit will also serve as the quarterfinal. Saturday's game will be live on WMSS 91.1FM and http://www.wmssfm.com/ at 7:30pm.
