Heat Defeat Real Harrisburg 11-8 In US Open Cup ActionThe Harrisburg Heat held off a late charging REAL Harrisburg 11-8 in the PASL's Open Cup Round of 16 Friday night at Sports City Harrisburg. Tyler Witmer scored 4 goals while Mitchell Walters added 2 more for the Heat, who rested 5 starters including keeper Dave Kern. Backup Justin Johnson got his first start in net for the Heat and picked up the win. Real trailed 9-4 after 3 quarters, but scored 3 unanswered goals early in the 4th to cut the lead to 9-7 before Witmer and Tom Mellor put it out of reach. Seth Lehman and Matt Sourbeer scored twice for REAL. The Waza's will hose the Heat January 12th for a regular season game that will also count as an Open Cup match.
